11U Travel Fastpitch
The Hillcrest Hawks 11U are a competitive travel fastpitch team from Hillcrest, Virginia. We play a USSSA schedule across Virginia and Maryland and finish every summer at the beach in Myrtle Beach.
Our story
More than a team
Our goal is simple: build confident, skilled players who love the game and play it the right way, with a team that feels like family.
- 01EVERY PLAYER DEVELOPS
Everyone hits, everyone learns at least two positions, and every practice has a plan.
- 02PITCHERS BUILT RIGHT
Four-plus pitchers in development, tracked innings and a rest plan for every arm.
- 03CONFIDENCE FIRST
Loud dugout, short memory. We celebrate effort and coach mistakes, never shame them.
- 04READY FOR 12U
Slapping, bunting, short game and the softball IQ that wins close games at the next level.

Questions
Who can try out?
Players who are 11U for the 2027 season, meaning 11 or younger on January 1, 2027. Strong 10U players are welcome to try out too.
Does it cost anything to try out?
No. Tryouts are free. Please register so we can plan evaluation groups.
What happens after tryouts?
Every family hears from us within 72 hours, whether or not a roster offer is made.
What does the season cost?
The 2027 player fee is $1,950. It covers tournament entry fees, two uniforms, field rental and indoor winter training. Payment plans are available.
How far do we travel?
Most events are within 90 minutes of home. The big trip is our summer week in Myrtle Beach.
How do you take care of pitchers?
Every pitcher has a rest and arm-care plan, we track innings across tournaments, and we develop at least four pitchers so no one carries the load alone.
What information about my daughter is public?
Only what you approve. By default we show first name, last initial, jersey number and positions. Never birth dates, schools or home towns.
