What can show on a team site
Each program picks how players appear on its roster. The options are:
- Full names, for older players and families who want it.
- First name and last initial, which we recommend for younger players.
- Numbers only.
- A roster visible only to team families, or hidden entirely.
Photos, stats, bats and throws, and graduation year can each be turned off for the whole team. Families can also opt their own player out of photos.
What never shows
- Birth dates. Tryout pages use birth years for age groups and never publish them for a player.
- Home addresses, or the school a player attends on a team roster.
- Phone numbers or personal email addresses.
- Medical, allergy or other sensitive details.
How contact works
Contact forms on team sites go to a coach, manager or the club office. On Player and Recruit Pages, messages from college coaches and scouts go to a parent's email. No form on a site we build sends messages straight to a minor.
Tryout and registration forms
Tryout and registration forms ask for a parent or guardian's name and contact details and are meant to be filled out by them. The information goes to the program running the tryout. We don't use it for marketing or share it with anyone else.
Player and Recruit Pages
A parent or guardian creates and controls the page for any athlete under 18 and approves everything on it. Recruit Pages can list a high school athlete's school and graduation year, because college coaches need them, only when the parent chooses to. NIL Supporters sections are only available for high school athletes, every partnership is parent approved and disclosed, and families are responsible for following their state's rules.
Getting something removed
Want your player's name, photo or anything else taken down? Ask your coach or program, or email us at hello@sportspage.app with the site and what you'd like removed. We'll work with the program and take it down promptly, usually within two business days.
Report a concern
If you see something on a site we host that seems unsafe or wrong for a young athlete, email hello@sportspage.app. We review every report and will hide content while we look into it when safety is at stake.
