Terms of Service

Last updated November 3, 2026

The short version

  • You own your content, your logo and your domain. We own the platform that runs your site.
  • Setup fees cover the design and build. Care plans and renewals cover hosting, updates and support.
  • You cancel a care plan anytime and it stops at the end of the current billing period.
  • You're responsible for having permission to post players' names and photos, especially minors.
  • Payments to your program go to your own accounts. We never hold your money.

This summary is here to help. The full text below is what counts.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sports Page ("SportsPage," "we," "us"). They cover sportspage.app, every website we build and host for customers, our admin tools and any related services (together, the "Services").

By ordering a site, using the admin or using sportspage.app, you agree to these Terms. If you're signing up for a team, club, tournament or other organization, you confirm you're at least 18 and have the authority to agree for that organization. In that case "you" means both you and the organization.

2. What we provide

We design, build and host custom websites for youth sports teams, clubs, tournaments and athletes. Each order is described in your quote, the Pricing page or our written confirmation, which together with these Terms make up the agreement.

Demo sites on sportspage.app use fictional teams, people and results. They show what we can build and are not real programs.

Features shown as previews, concepts or "coming soon" are not promised until they're part of your order.

3. Building your site

To start, you send us the materials we ask for, such as your logo, colors, coaches, roster, schedule and photos. Timelines on our site begin once we have those materials and are estimates, not guarantees.

We send a private preview link for review. One full round of revisions is included with every build. Changes after that, or changes that add new pages or features, may be billed separately or handled under a care plan.

Your site goes live once you approve it and your domain is connected.

4. Fees, renewals and payment

Prices are listed on our Pricing page or in your quote. Setup fees are due before we start the build unless we agree otherwise in writing.

  • Care plans bill monthly or yearly, as chosen at signup, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Tournament and Recruit Page renewals bill yearly and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • We'll email you before a yearly renewal is charged.
  • Prices don't include taxes. You're responsible for any that apply.

If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause your site after emailing you. We'll turn it back on once the account is current.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a care plan or renewal anytime by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time.

Setup fees are refundable in full if you cancel before we send your first design preview. After that, setup fees are non-refundable because the design work has been done.

If your site has to come down because of something on our end, we'll make it right, including a refund for the affected period.

6. Your content and who owns what

You own the content you give us or add to your site: your name, logo, text, photos, videos, rosters, schedules and sponsor materials ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, copy, display, resize and format Your Content only as needed to run your site and provide the Services.

We own the SportsPage platform, software, themes, templates, admin tools and anything we create that isn't Your Content. While your account is active, you have the right to use your site's design as part of the Services.

Your domain stays yours. When we register a domain for you, it's registered to you or your organization. You can ask for a copy of Your Content at any time, and we'll provide it in a common format.

For personal information on your site, including rosters, registrations and messages ("Customer Data"), we act as your service provider. We use Customer Data only to run your site and provide the Services, as you direct, and never for our own marketing or advertising.

We never put ads on your site.

We may show your live site, with your logo, in our portfolio and marketing. Just tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

7. Players, minors and permission

Youth sports sites show information about kids. Your organization is responsible for giving families notice about what it posts and collects, and for getting any consent the law requires, including from each player's parent or guardian for names, photos, video and stats. Anyone who adds information about another person, such as a coach entering a roster, confirms they have that person's or their parent's permission.

  • Use the roster privacy settings that fit your program, such as first name and last initial.
  • Don't post a minor's birth date, home address, school schedule, phone number or personal email.
  • Remove a player's information promptly when a parent or guardian asks.

Player and Recruit Pages are managed by a parent or guardian for any athlete under 18. NIL Supporters sections are only for high school athletes, and the family is responsible for following their state's and association's rules.

We may remove or hide content involving minors if we believe it's unsafe or posted without permission. See our Kids' Privacy & Safety page for more.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the Services to:

  • Post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or threatening.
  • Post content you don't have the rights to, including other people's photos, logos or music.
  • Mislead people, impersonate another program or person, or run gambling or betting.
  • Collect sensitive information you don't need, like Social Security numbers or medical records, through site forms.
  • Send spam, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the Services.

We may remove content or pause a site that breaks these rules. We'll tell you why unless the law or a safety issue prevents it.

9. Other services you connect

Your site can link to or show content from services like GameChanger, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, LeagueApps, Exposure Events, Stripe and PayPal. We aren't affiliated with them, their own terms apply, and we aren't responsible for their content, outages or changes.

Registration fees, dues and other payments run through your own payment accounts and go straight to your organization. We never receive or hold those funds, and refunds of them are between you and your families.

10. Hosting, availability and backups

We work hard to keep sites fast and online, and we keep regular backups. Like any online service, the Services may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Live weather, field status and other automated information on sites is advisory only. Your organization's official decisions, such as closing a field or delaying a game, always come first.

11. Disclaimers

Except as written in these Terms, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise any specific search ranking, traffic or number of sign-ups.

12. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if warned they could happen.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them.

13. Your responsibility for claims

You'll defend and cover us against claims from others that come from Your Content, including missing permissions for photos or players' information, or from your breaking these Terms.

14. Ending the service

You can stop using the Services at any time by cancelling. We may end or pause the Services if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or don't pay, after giving you notice when we reasonably can.

When the Services end, we'll keep your site's content for 30 days so you can request an export, then we may delete it. We'll help point your domain wherever you choose.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, we each agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by email for at least 30 days. Any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
